Kimberly Center - Home of the Panthers!

Panther Basketball
For the first time ever, Kimberly Center will put a competitive high school basketball team on theHandsome coaches Wessel and Foster hardwood to play against other Iowa Alternative High School teams. Coaches Wessel and Foster will be leading our prodigious Panther players into action for the first game on December 14th against Cedar Rapids Metro. Head Coach Wessel brings two decades of varsity high school basketball coaching experience to the table along with Assistant Coach Foster’s intense, firey coaching style. Both played on championship teams "back in the day". Games will be played at the St. Marks Church Field House. If you want to play, and are willing work hard (on and off the court), come to one of the informational meetings held by the coaches on Thursday 11/15 at either 7:45 or 3:15. Go Panthers!

Intramural Time @ KC
If you’re interested in participating in some healthy activities before or after school, please try the Kimberly Center Intramural Program. This is a new program to our school, so we’ll be trying lots of activities. Of course there will be basketball and volleyball, but we’ll also have ping pong, foosball, board games and more! We’re even considering chaperoning trips to local events in the Quad Cities. Mr. Wessel and Mr. Foster will be running the program that begins on Monday 11/26/07. The days and times are as follows: Mondays 7:30-8:00, Tuesdays 3:15-3:45 and Thursdays 7:30-8:00. The days and times may change because of demand and student participation is subject to staff discretion based on individual student’s behavior and grades.
