English as a Second Language at Jefferson Elementary School in Davenport

Jefferson Elementary in Davenport provides English as a Second Language (ESL) intensive programs to English Language Learners within the school. These programs are taught by ELL certified teachers and specially trained paraeducators. ELL teachers meet with students daily, many times meeting in the regular classroom to support students’ academic learning with classroom curriculum. The ESL program at Jefferson Elementary serves the Central Region of the Davenport Community School District.
