Begin Registration Early For Your Incoming Kindergartner!
Davenport Community Schools welcomes incoming Kindergartners earlier this year! Starting February 17th, families of incoming Kindergartners are invited to pick up and submit forms to the school office or to apply online by visiting the Kindergarten link at www.davenportschools.org. Congratulations to Mrs. Houk for having her application accepted for a student-made sculpture to be displayed during the 3rd Annual Village in Bloom Festival. The sculpture will be displayed at the festival on Saturday, May 4th. THE FACTS RELATED TO THE CALENDAR
- DCSD is now on a school calendar that is based on having a total of 1080 school hours to meet the requirements set forth in Iowa School Code for a full academic year instead of the previous formula of 180 school days for a full academic year
- Approximately 8 additional hours over the 1080

Please help us to make it safe for all students by remembering the pick up procedures. Students are not allowed to go to their car if it is past the big tree.
