    End of Year Date for Students

    The Davenport Community School Board voted on Monday night to finalize this school year’s schedule to set the last day of school for students as Friday, May 29th.     Jackson’s Village In Bloom Sculpture

    Students at Jackson Elementary School, (Stepping Stones Program and 4th grade students) created a sculpture for the 3rd annual Village in Bloom Festival,, , honoring the lives of local artists John and Isabel Bloom.     100 Years, 100 Cellos

    Many district art teachers are participating in the Quad City Orchestra fundraiser “100 Years 100 Cellos”. All 100 cellos will be on display at the Figge Art Museum May 26th- 29th. Cellos will be auctioned prior; proceeds will support music education for children in our community.     Davenport Community Schools welcomes incoming Kindergartners earlier this year!     Car Pickup Procedures Reminder!!!

    Please help us to make it safe for all students by remembering the pick up procedures.  Students are not allowed to go to their car if it is past the big tree.  If you are past the big tree wait to load until the next round of cars are loaded.  This will help keep all kids safe and speed the process for all for picking up students.
