The Creative Arts Academy has officially released its audition materials for the 2016-2017 school year.
Applications will be accepted for next year’s 6-8th and 11th & 12th graders.
Please encourage your 5th grade students to apply if they have a passion and aptitude for the arts!

Five volunteers from Jackson Elementary received the H.U.G. Award. H.U.G. stands for “Helping Us Grow.” Each recipient received a bouquet of flowers with a package of Hershey Hugs attached to it along with a H.U.G. Award certificate and lapel pin. Students at Jackson Elementary School, (Stepping Stones Program and 4th grade students) created a sculpture for the 3rd annual Village in Bloom Festival,, , honoring the lives of local artists John and Isabel Bloom. Many district art teachers are participating in the Quad City Orchestra fundraiser “100 Years 100 Cellos”. All 100 cellos will be on display at the Figge Art Museum May 26th- 29th. Cellos will be auctioned prior; proceeds will support music education for children in our community.
