Avoid the winter blahs and run off some of that youthful energy at Roosevelt Community Center’s Open Gym. Open Gym is hosted on the 2nd Saturday of the month, October through March and offers an opportunity for youth to pickup a game of basketball, play toss, make new friends, run, jump, hop, and many other fun and recreational games. The gym is open to ages 4 to 16; a parent is required to be in attendance with youth ages 4 to 7.

Santa Claus will be making a special appearance at Roosevelt Community Center.
Join us for some Holiday Cheer! Youth in attendance to our Free Holiday event will receive a picture with Santa, a Special Gift and much more!
Kids will also be able to: decorate their very own Hot Chocolate Mug, e-mail or write a Letter to Santa, play a few rounds of Christmas Bingo, listen to a Christmas story, enjoy a few sugary treats and most of all experience and enjoy all that the season brings.
Family Friday Night (FFN)
Friday, December 28th
6 pm – 9 pm
We will be showing the Movie “Elf” this month. Family Friday nights are generally held on the 4th Friday of the month and have a different fun family theme. The cost of admission is $2.50 per person in advance or $4.00 per person at the door (maximum $10 per Family) and includes pizza and lemonade.
However, December’s FFN is Free of Charge
Public Computer Lab (Free)
Lab Hours (generally are):
Tuesday: 9 am – 11 am and 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Wednesday: 9 am – 11 am and 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursday: 9 am – 11 am and 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 2 pm
Roosevelt Community Partnership volunteer operate a Free Public Computer Lab at Roosevelt. The lab offers access to resources through the Internet and educational offerings. Looking for a job? Want to stay connected to school and friends? The opportunities are endless.
