PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)
The PTO here at Hayes is very active in helping to support the school and activities of the students. It is instrumental in bringing about many positive programs and activities for the children in the school.
The PTO has sponsored the following events and programs over the years: The Children’s Literature Festival, Safety Patrol equipment and pins, purchasing the new playground equipment, Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Fun Night, and helping to defray some of the cost for Class Study Trips.
Become involved and know your children’s school, teachers and friends. Any amount of time and help you can spare is always greatly appreciated and needed by the PTO and is of course beneficial to the students at Hayes. Membership in the PTO is available at anytime during the school year. We will elect new officers at the September 11th PTO meeting
PTO meeting are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the library at 4:00 p.m.:
September 11th October 9th November 13th December 11th
January 8th February 12th March 5th April 9th
Popcorn: PTO will sell popcorn on Friday, once or twice per month. Popcorn is 50 cents per bag.
