A total of 88 students earned a PBIS Student Acknowledgement for the month of December! Students earned these special acknowledgements by displaying Fab 5 behaviors throughout the building. Way to go Fillmore Flyers! Students were able to take a photo together at the end of our PBIS Assembly today.
Fifth grade students worked with Mrs. Remick-Thul during their recess time to make tie blankets. Two students paired up to make each blanket. In total, they made six blankets! Mrs. Remick-Thul said, “They have worked so hard and the teamwork has amazed me!” The 12 students have now chosen to donate their blankets to a nursing home.
Our students represented Fillmore incredibly well on Sunday at the Putnam Museum during the Junior First LEGO League Boom Town Build competition. The Fillmore Hawkeye team was specially recognized as “Creative Explorers” and the LEGO Alpha team won “Creative Innovator” award. We are so proud of them.
