We know that many of you have questions about what the procedures will be should there be a positive COVID-19 test within your student’s school.
If there is a positive case of COVID-19 in a Davenport Community School District building, the Scott County Health Department will contact families of students who are considered to be in close contact with the person with a positive COVID-19 test. The Davenport Community School District will not contact you.
It is imperative that you then follow the instructions provided by the Scott County Health Department. If your family is not contacted by the health department, your student(s) was not found to be in close contact with the positive case, and no further action is required.
