World No Tobacco Day
World No Tobacco Day is an annual event celebrated each year at the end of May. World No Tobacco Day is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure. The campaign serves as a call to action for policy change. The main focus of World No Tobacco Days is to discourage the use of tobacco and electronic smoking devices by young people and to encourage current users to quit. Students signed a pledge in the cafeteria to be tobacco free. Students who participated were: Stephanie McGowan, DeAngelo Howard, Aniyah Gatewood, Dwayne Laws and Trevion Cooke.
