    Congratulations to the Davenport Central Young Inventors Group for receiving the Excite Award from MIT and the Lemelson Team. The team members when through an intense application process, successfully moving forward in the competition. Excited to see what we create next year! 

    Come out and support the Davenport Central Robotics Teams by coming to our Trivia Night at Renwick Mansion on Thursday April 25th starting at 6 pm. It won’t be bad, we promise!

    Students are reminded that they are not to park in the Trinity Cathedral parking lot.  Vehicles parked illegally in this area may be towed.

    Hey Battle of the Books teams!

    Be sure to be at the Bettendorf library at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th for our competition.  Be sure that you have read and reviewed all of your assigned books.  Come see Mrs. Heninger if you have questions.

    Are you looking to take care of your detentions so you can go to prom?  Here is your chance, come to Central Saturday morning from 9-11.  We will not let anyone in after 9. 

    Remember all detentions must be severed in order to attend the dance and After Prom. 

    Because there were problems with Prom King and Queen Nominations, seniors, you will now vote on 2019 Google classroom. Voting closes at the end of the school day on TODAY.

    Attention volleyball players!
    There will be an informational meeting for all girls planning to play volleyball in the fall during DC Time in Kahler Auditorium Tuesday April 23rd.  We will discuss summer opportunities and expectations.  To attend, please sign up for DC Time with Coach Darland on Tuesday.  Coach Darland can be found in the Science category of Flexisched.  Also, many of you have not returned your jerseys from last season.  Please bring those to the meeting.  You can also drop them off to Coach Darland in Kemper Hall before school, on 6th floor after school, or put them in his mailbox in the main office.

    After-School tutoring in Social Studies and Science is available in the Library beginning at 3:45.  Talk to your teacher and bring your work.

    Juniors, did you receive a permission slip for the option to dismiss at 12:30 next Wednesday after the ACT exam?   Today is the last day to pick one up in 425 from Mr. Johnson!
