Battle of the Books

Supervisor:

Battle of the Books is a competition where students read 32 selected books and then compete as a team on questions about the books. Teams will take a written test in early April 2009, and then the top 16 teams as determined by the score of the written test will compete in live rounds at Marshalltown High School in late April or early May.

Time Commitment Required:

You will read approximately 10 books between October and April and be prepared to answer questions about those books in a competitive setting.

Procedures for Joining:

Please see Mrs. Heninger in room 501 to discuss Battle of the Books. Recruitment for this activity begins in September.
