     IT IS A GREAT DAY TO BE A BLUE DEVIL ~ here are your Daily Announcements:

    Sierra Craig was selected yesterday as a member of the Iowa 4A All-State Jazz Band.  She is only the second Central student ever to receive this honor, and the first in nearly 20 years.  She will will perform with the group in May at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Convention.  Congrats Sierra!

    Appropriate language is that which is appropriate to the situation, audience, and purpose. If you don’t use language appropriate to the situation and audience, it will not be effective and may have consequences. 

    Students please pay close attention to the language you use in the halls and class. When addressed for using inappropriate language accept that the school is trying to help you.

    Attention Students: Are you interested in being a part of the Blue Illusion Dance Team for 2020-2021?

    Dance Team Tryouts are March 28, 2020. Tryout Material will be taught the day of tryouts in the morning and tryouts will take place after lunch that day.

    If you are interested in trying out for the team or have questions about tryouts, see Mrs. Dennis in room 415 for all the information.

    No dance experience required.

    Seniors—have you made a final decision about your plans for after graduation?  Please complete the form in the class of 2020 google classroom and participate in Decision Day! 

    Juniors—There is still time to sign up for the free April 29th ACT.  Create an account on act.org and then register using the google form found in the class of 2021 classroom.  Juniors may leave after testing is completed on the 29th.  Permission slips were mailed home.  Please return them to the counseling office. 

    Sophomores—if you did not complete the Additional Course selection form in Advisory on Monday—please do it today!  The form is found in the class of 2022 classroom. 

    Freshmen—please be prepared to meet with your counselor after spring break!  Go into the academic planner on your portal and select your classes.  Since we are remaining on the block schedule next year, you will need 8 credits
