    A huge congratulations goes out to the 2019-2020 Blackhawk yearbook staff for receiving the Neubert Award in the Iowa High School Press Association’s Whole Book Contest. The Neubert Award is IHSPA’s highest rating category. Click here to learn more about this distinguished honor.
    Congratulations to the members of the Central Music Department that were selected for the prestigious Iowa All-State Festival.  These students competed against hundreds of students from the entire state to earn this recognition. Click herefor a list of Blue Devil musicians selected for the festival.
    Congratulations goes out to the 2019-2020 Blackhawk yearbook staff for awards they received in the annual Iowa High School Press Association’s yearbook contest. Our 2020 yearbook went up against other yearbooks from all across the state.     Congratulations to the Blue Illusion Dance team on winning it’s fourth consecutive State Championship! The team competed in the Iowa State Dance Team State championship on November 19.
