Congratulations to the Central Show Choirs for their finishes in Cedar Rapids!   Blue Vibrations took home 2nd place in the Prep Division and won the award for Best Costumes.    However, Blue Vibes scored the 5th highest point total at the end of the day.  Great Job Blue Vibes!

Central Singers, Incorporated finished 2nd place in class 4-A and qualified for finals for the third straight week.  In the evening finals, they finished 1st runner-up, just three points away from Grand Champion.  They also finished the competition winning Best Band for the SECOND week in a row and won the award for Best Costumes.  Special congratulations to Junior CJ Parker for winning the award for Best Male Soloist in a show!

Five Central Singers members performed in a solo competition that day as well.  Junior Peyton Reese took home 2nd place with her song “See I’m Smiling”, and Junior CJ Parker won the solo competition with his version of “Let Me Try”.

Congratulations Show Choirs and Go Blue!
