Announcements for 12-15-09
Congratulations to swimmers Cody Curtis, Byron Tiemeier, Shane Banks, Mickey Herman, Alex Johnstone, and Alex Dvorak, for being ranked in the top 20 in the state in more then one event.
Students may pick up the Final Opt Out forms in the counselor’s office starting Friday, December 11th in the morning through Tuesday, December 15th. You may not pick up a form on Wednesday December 16th.

First, you must have all your teachers sign the form indicating that you are passing your classes.

Second, you go back to the teachers that you want to opt out of the final and have them record your grade, your attendance, and sign it.

Third, be sure that you and your parents sign the form.

Fourth, it must be turned in by the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 16th. No exceptions.
It’s coming , It’s coming quickly!!!—no I don’t mean Holiday break! I am talking about your last chance to save some money on your yearbook. Yearbooks are on sale in the activities office for $60.00, but that price won’t last long. When the term ends so does the sale price--– so don’t miss out. Get your yearbook ordered today.
All Girls interested in playing softball at the varsity, sophomore, or Freshman levels this season: Plan on attending an organizational meeting today, right after school in room 521. If unable to attend, contact Coach Hoeksema before the end of B term.
Candy cane grams are on sale now for the next week before school and after first block next to the donut stand. Buy a candy cane gram for 50 cents and the drama club will deliver them. So come and buy someone you care about or your friend and candy cane this holiday.
Are you interested in getting involved and giving back to your community? Do you want to learn more about the Red Cross and the services they provide? If so, please join us for a brief informational meeting about the new Red Cross Club that is starting here at Central. This meeting will be hosted in room 631 immediately after school this Thursday 12/17. If you cannot make it but are interested, please see Olivia Chen or Mrs. Killian for more information.
Attention Central Students: If you took the PSAT test we have received the test scores and they are in the guidance office. Please stop and pick up your booklet.
Drama club meeting will be next Monday after school in room 417.
Due to the copious amounts of snow we received last Thursday, our much-anticipated Girls' Learn meeting was canceled...HOWEVER we WILL have a meeting tonight after school in the library! & guess what?! WE WILL HAVE THE PRESS! YAY!! oh, & we will be discussing the importance/recognition of human rights & the awesome things we can do to promote them. Come one, come all to discuss human rights.

Attention all cheerleaders: Money for sweats are due Friday December 18th. If your money is not in on Friday you will not be getting sweats! If you have not given coach your ripped poncho you need to do that ASAP!!!!
Attention Art Club Members: Make sure you stop down to room 314 for our annual “Holiday Meeting” today, after school. We have a special activity planned. Also; there will be no Art Club meeting next week due to Finals.
