Announcements for 12-06-07

Seniors will be leaving at 12:45pm on Friday for the Davenport Promise presentation…..the time has changed and seniors will be leaving during the last 20 minutes of 3rd block. There will be an announcement over the intercom for their dismissal. Tomorrow seniors will find out what bus they will be riding to West High School (not the Adler Theater). If you have seniors in your 4th block class you can let them know what bus they will be riding on for the event. If seniors do not have a 4th block and would like to attend, they can ride on their own or on school bus #6. Thank you! 12-6

There is going to be FCA tomorrow at 7am in the auditorium. 12-6

We will have representative from Western Illinois University at 10:40 am in the guidance office today. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 12-6

There IS bowling practice Friday for the entire team at Miller Time Bowl beginning at 3:15pm. 12-6

Blue Crew members; remember to meet with your freshman today during lunch. There are newsletters in the main office with discussion points! 12-6

Today is a homeroom schedule day! Yes, that is right; everyone will attend their homeroom class after 2nd block. Please check your schedules or outside the main office for where you go for your homeroom after 2nd block for 20 minutes. Homeroom will go from 10:43-11:03. All seniors during homeroom time today need to bring a pencil and go into the auditorium for a senior meeting. 12-6

Due to loss of inventory, during breakfast only, the big cafeteria door on the east side will be closed from now on. You will have to enter by the cashiers. 12-7

ATTENTION ALL SOPHOMORE GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS: THE SOPHOMORE GAME TONIGHT IS @ 5:00. PLEASE BE AT THE SCHOOL AT 4:00!!! 12-6

Have you ever wanted to be a teacher? Well here is your opportunity! How about being a peer- tutor teacher? If this sounds like fun, please sign-up in room 425 with Ms. Teague or with your favorite teacher. This could be your mission- to help other students. We need peer tutors in all academic areas. You may choose before school and after school. How about a Saturday, if you are really energetic! Please sign-up this week and feel good about helping someone in need. We need YOU!! 12-7

The GSA will be meeting this Thursday in Kemper 12, we will be drafting the student and staff pledges. It is imperative that you attend. All students are welcomed to attend. 12-6
