Announcements for 12-02-09
The Bluedevil wrestlers opened their season last night at Tipton. Central won both dual meets beating Northeast Gooselake 47-27 and Tipton 63-12. Ryan Baumer, Ryan Mena, Paul Shumaker, Tay Tay Tensley, Payton Shumaker, Leonard Overstreet, and Josh Behrendt were all 2-0 on the night. Sean Turcsak and Miles Bostic were 1-1 for the varsity. In JV action, TJ Meyer was 2-1, Nate Coonts was 2-0, Joey Faison, Rodrick Jackson, Jake Maxwell, and Quentin Woods were all 1-0 on the night. Congratulations on a great start .BlueDevils
Drama club. Please check room 417 for all sign ups for the month of December. Permission slips to the holiday skits are due by this Friday. Those who are signed up to act in the holiday skit, we will have dress rehearsal each morning in room 417 before school. Come on the day you perform to act out the role you have selected on that day. If you are a member of the club, you must buy a t-shirt by Friday. You must participate in at least one event this school year to be an official member of the club and the t-shirt is our costume and is worn to all events. See Jessica Welser at room 417 to purchase your t-shirt.
Attention all girls interested in being part of this year’s Track & Field team: There will be a brief meeting Thursday after school in room 627. See Coach Trujillo for more information.
There will be at short informational meeting for all those planning on coming out for the boys track & field team on Thursday 12/3 right after school on room 309. Any questions please see Coach Tandy.
ATTENTION MUSIC DEPARTMENT STUDENTS and PARENTS: If you participated in the Fruit & Nut Fundraiser this year, you will need to pick up your orders this Thursday, Dec. 3rd at the Armory on Brady Street, from 1:30 - 5:30 pm. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 5:30!! There will be a sign up sheet at the Armory for people wanting to purchase the 'extras' that were ordered ... there is a limited amount of extras and the requests will be filled on a 'first come-first serve' basis about a week after distribution day. For those 2nd block students who were selected to help sort the orders at the Armory, you will need to make arrangements to pick up your order between 1:30 - 5:30 .... no orders will be allowed to leave the Armory until 1:30.
Would the following girls please return your black choir dresses that you borrowed to the choir room or the main office with your name on it or put it in a bag and mark the bag.

French Club Members. It’s time to get the word out about French club! We won a prestigious lottery and will be allowed to decorate a display case on the 2nd floor by the cafeteria. Perhaps you have memorabilia from your last trip to Paris? Perhaps you have souvenirs from someone else’s trip? Perhaps you have French artifacts such as: berets, baguettes or bisoux! Please bring them to room 339 and at our next French Club Meeting, we will decorate away!
Could Olivia Chen, Saharra Rangel, Kim Magnus, Ashley Nauman, Anna Kaufman, Ameila Torres, and Kelsey Anson please come to the Activities Office during passing time.
