  • A special Congratulation goes out to Jesse Mumm, Petra Hahn and Jessica Glasgow for their achievements in the Girls Swimming Season. All three girls earned Gold D’s as well as Jesse Mumm earned All Academic. CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS!

  • Congratulations to the freshman boys basketball team on their decisive victory last night over Bettendorf 70-44. They were lead by Jarrod Harris with 21 points and Jacob Light with 16. Great job boys!”

  • Last night there was plenty of excitement at Miller Time Bowl as the Kegglers from Central battled North Scott. The Lady Blue Devils staged an incredible comeback erasing a 140 pin deficit in the last 2 games of team bowling shooting 244 and 247 to win by 10 pins and stay undefeated. In the process they set a new school record of 2724. Key performers included Lisa Freeman shooting 224, Theresa Diggs scoring 215 and Erin Abbas shot 10 out of 13 strikes as our anchor.

  • On the Men's side - Central defeated North Scott by 412 pins with a dominating performance. The top performers were Matt Schlueter rolling 258 and 231, and Justin Livermore shooting 217. A well balanced attack from all and consistent baker made this the best night so far this young season.

  • Remember there is bowling for the intramural league this Thursday at Bowlmor Lanes and the entire Central Varsity and Junior Varsity has practice on Friday. New bowlers are still welcome.

  • Attention Drama Club members! Rehearsal for the touring play will be after school today in room the auditorium. See ya there!

  • Newspaper 14th Block Students mandatory check is today. All assignments have been posted for over a week. They are due in the computer and approved by Dec. 4 with a hard copy to Buttleman. 12/1/09 Bricolage is accepting submissions for the B term Mag. thru Tuesday Dec.1. Bring them to Kemper attention Sam Hayes, Danielle Kimler, or Sarah Landsteiner. Bricolage is also accepting submissions for C term, the theme is Memories.

  • Attention all girls interested in being part of this year’s Track & Field team: There will be a brief meeting Thursday after school in room 627. See Coach Trujillo for more information.

  • ATTENTION MUSIC DEPARTMENT STUDENTS and PARENTS: If you participated in the Fruit & Nut Fundraiser this year, you will need to pick up your orders this Thursday, Dec. 3rd at the Armory on Brady Street, from 1:30 - 5:30 pm. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 5:30!! There will be a sign up sheet at the Armory for people wanting to purchase the 'extras' that were ordered ... there is a limited amount of extras and the requests will be filled on a 'first come-first serve' basis about a week after distribution day. For those 2nd block students who were selected to help sort the orders at the Armory, you will need to make arrangements to pick up your order between 1:30 - 5:30 .... no orders will be allowed to leave the Armory until 1:30.

  • Attention all Freshman, Sophomore and Varsity football players who were unable to attend the end of the year Banquet. Please stop by Room 519 to receive your certificate and awards. Thanks, Coach Roering.

  • Would the following girls please return your black choir dresses that you borrowed to the choir room or the main office with your name on it or put it in a bag and mark the bag. Johnetta Latham, Arionna Smith, Shakayla VanHoosier, Alexis Harris, Kaylee Allinger, Kenna Faulkner, Yesseia Cook, Kamisha Thornton.

  • The following two boys need to return pants to the choir room: Jalen Frazier, and Bryan Brown.

  • PJ Golden, Will Shimone Crump, Jay Stadelman, Sam Flesburg, Dory Helton, Blake Weiman and Leon Blair, and Isaac Andersom please come to Room 519 to see Coach Roering.

  • Attention all Senior Football players.
