Attention ALL MARSHALL MANIACS: The Maniac Shirts are here!!! Yes, that’s right the Maniac Shirts are here!! You can buy them at the Activities Office for $13.00, so be sure and stop by and get yours for the Basketball season opener against Alleman on Tuesday night!!!! 11-27-07
We are starting a new tradition here at Central- SPIRIT SUPPERS! Before and during all of the home basketball games this season, you will be able to purchase dinner for JUST AROUND $5.00! The first Spirit Supper will be on Tuesday, Nov. 27 starting at 6:00 PM at the concession stand. You will be able to purchase a walking taco meal for $4.00 or $5.50 with a drink. Please come hungry and watch the Blue Devils take on Alleman! 11-26
Check out the display across from the entrance to the "Blue Devil Cafe" about the final opting out of finals. Be in class, passing all your classes, and getting good grades. 11-28
The Varsity and Sophomore Scholastic Bowl teams will be practicing together Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. We will be planning our strategy for our upcoming Knowledge Master Open competition. I hope to see all of you at the practice tomorrow morning.
The Freshman Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing this Friday, November 30th at 7:00 a.m. 11-26
This is a reminder to all National History Day competitors - if you are planning to go to St. Ambrose for research this Thursday, you must turn in your permission slips no later than this Tuesday. If you need a permission slip, come pick one up from Mrs. Heninger. 11-26
Term 2 Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Wednesday, November 28th from 4-7pm in the Central Café. Please invite your parents to school that evening to pick up your progress report and meet your teachers. Don’t forget, this Wednesday, November 28th from 4-7pm! 11-28
Who would like to purchase some new Central clothes? If you interested in purchasing new Central apparel this week the Athletic Boosters will be selling during lunch time tomorrow at the West end of the cafeteria and during the first home boys’ basketball game tomorrow in the sports lobby. They will also be selling new apparel on Wednesday during conferences. 11-28
The first Bowling Meet of this season is today at Miller Time Bowl beginning at 5:00 O'clock against Bettendorf. All are invited to attend. Varsity and Junior Varsity Bowlers are asked to be at Miller Time at 4:30 pm in uniform. 11-26
ATTENTION ALL GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS, DUE TO THE CANCELLATION OF THE FRESHMAN GIRLS GAME TONIGHT, VARSITY PRACTICE WILL BE HELD FROM 5 - 7 PM AND THE FROSH/SOPHS WILL PRACTICE 7 - 9.
Attention Central Speech Team members: There will be a brief meeting in room 306 after school today. The purpose is to discuss the tournament this weekend (December 1st) at Davenport West. All who plan to compete at this tournament, should be at this meeting today. 11-26
If you are in ReadnRap, you need to stop by room 501 and pick up a permission slip for the December 6th ICN event at North High School. We will be traveling to North High School from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 6th for an ICN session so that you will be introduced to your partners through the ICN. Come pick up your permission slip as soon as you can. 11-27
We will have representative from Truman State University at 9:00 am tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27th in the guidance office. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 11-26
There will be a Blue Crew meeting on Wednesday at 7:15 in the LMC. 11-27
A reminder to all baseball players: if you are not out for a winter sport it's time to get back in the weight room. Weight lifting will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday right after school in the weight room. 11-26
