Announcements for 11-19-09

  • Reminder to all fall athletes that the Fall Sports Awards Program is tonight at 6:00 PM in Kahler Auditorium. Please plan on attending and celebrating the great fall we had.

  • Attention basketball and wrestling cheerleaders. Practices will begin Monday November 23rd in the aerobics room from 4 to 5:00. There will be a parent meeting at 5:00pm. Please plan on attending both the practice and the meeting. Pictures for the cheerleaders will be at 4:45. Bring your uniforms. If you do not have a uniform you will get it before pictures. Football cheerleaders should also attend this meeting with their uniforms.

  • Now is the time to purchase this year’s 2009/2010 yearbook. It is filling up with awesome pictures, wonderful stories and lots of great memories of this amazing school year. Reserve your copy today for $60.00 in the activities office or on jostensyearbooks.com by December 22. The price will going up soon so get your copy ordered today!

  • Bricolage is accepting submissions through Dec. 1 for the B term lit Mag. The theme is Power. C term the theme is Memories. Bring work to Kemper 13 / 14 attention Sam Hayes- Danielle Kimler- Sarah Landsteiner.

  • What is purple, witty, and definitely a fashion statement? The first-ever Indigo Ink t-shirt of course! Pick up order forms from Mrs. Heninger in room 501 if you would like to show your support for Central's Literary and Arts Magazine. All orders are due by December 1st.

  • Are you looking for a yummie treat before or after school? Well you are in luck- the Army JROTC Cadets are having a bake sale Thursday and Friday. See the Cadets around room 254 before school, in the West 3rd floor foyer during passing time, and at the café Oasis after school. The price is very cheap and the food is good.

  • The Destination Imagination team will meet tomorrow after school in room 501. See you there. If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Heninger or Jonathon Quist.

  • We will have a representative from Indian Hills Community College at 11:00 am, in the guidance office conference room.
