Attention all seniors: Just a reminder that all signature slips for the 07-08 yearbook need to be returned to the main office by today. If you have not received a slip, you need to pick one up in the main office. All slips need to be returned at the very latest, this Wednesday after school. 11-14

Our next book club book is Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevallier.  This novel tells the story of Holland in the 1600's through the eyes of a sixteen year old girl and was inspired by one of Vermeer's most celebrated paintings.  If you would like a copy of the book, come by room 501.  Our discussion will be held on Monday, December 10th after school so you have about a month to read the book.  Central, let's get reading! 11-14

Don’t forget to get your tickets for Jingle Jam!  We have a limited amount of tickets, and you wouldn’t want to miss out.  Jingle Jam will be held on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30p.m.at the River Center in Davenport.  Besides having a fantastic time dancing, your ticket purchase enters you in a raffle for some great prizes. Jingle Jam tickets are on sale now for $15 in the Activities Office. 11-14

All girls who are interested in being part of this year's Track & Field team must come to a meeting this Thursday after school in room 627. See Coach Trujillo or Coach Rangel for more information. 11-15

Today is Central Idol 2008. If you bring $1.00 to your fourth block teacher you will be able to attend tomorrow.

Attention all sophomores! Today at 9:30 there is a short sophomore meeting in the auditorium. All sophomores will need to attend this 20 minute meeting to get information about class rings and guidance scheduling.

We will have a representative from University of Platteville in the guidance office conference room today at 1:00 pm. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 11-13

Reminder for senior students: Herff Jones will be here again today from 9am-1pm in the cafeteria for any seniors who need to purchase cap/gown/tassel/announcements, etc. 11-13

Yes, today is the day all you Central Blue Devils. Today is the day for you to hear the candidates for Central Idol and select the winner. For a mere $1 donation to the Student Food Drive, you can have the honor of being one of the distinguished judges. That’s 2:00 today in the gym. 11-13

Attention Bowling Team - Both the Men's and Women's Bowling Team will have practice this Friday at Miller Time Bowl beginning at 3:15 pm.  Remember to bring your physicals and signed participation forms. 11-13

Attention all Marching Band Members: The rehearsal for the Festival of Trees Parade is tomorrow from 1:45 to 3:15 here at Central. The parade is this Saturday morning. This rehearsal and performance are mandatory. 11-13
