Who has $1.00? Who has $1.00 that they would like to donate to the Student Food Drive? Who has $1.00 that they would like to donate to the student food drive to watch an all-star performance by some CHS students this Tuesday in George Marshall Gym? This Tuesday, November 13th at 1:30pm, you can pay $1.00 and get excused out of your fourth block class to come see Central Idol 2007! Save your pennies over the weekend so you can attend this special event! Talk to Student Council members if you have any questions about Central Idol. We would love 100% of the student body to attend! Look under your sofa cushions, beg your mom or dad, or do a little work around the house to earn that dollar so you can come this Tuesday to Central Idol! $1.00 is all you need...come one, come all! 11-9
Book Club is meeting on Monday, November 12th after school in room 501. We are discussing The Kite Runner. The movie is due to be released December 14th amid some controversy, so our discussion should be interesting. If you have read this book, feel free to join us. 11-9
If you are going to the Scholastic Bowl tournament tomorrow, this is a reminder to meet at Moline High School at 8:40 a.m. in the morning. If you need directions or a ride, come see Mrs. Heninger today. 11-9
All boys cross country members are reminded that Monday is the Fall Sports Awards Banquet. Plan on attending with your parents and family. 11-12
The following Freshmen football players need to see Coach Duvall in Room 527 TODAY: Chris Hazelwood, Zach Standafer, Ed Dixon, Paul Springfield, Nate Rauch, Nathan McCallister, Kenny Gilmore, Sean Russell, Coy Vincent and Trae Edwards. Any other football player who would like to work at the St. Ambrose game tomorrow should also see Coach Duvall today. 11-9

Attention all bowlers: The Men’s and Women’s bowling teams will be having practice at Miller Time Bowl on Monday the 12th and Friday the 16th next week, starting at 3:15 pm. These are mandatory if you intend to be competing in our first meet. 11-9
Don’t forget to get your tickets for Jingle Jam! We have a limited amount of tickets, and you wouldn’t want to miss out. Jingle Jam will be held on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30p.m.at the River Center in Davenport. Besides having a fantastic time dancing, your ticket purchase enters you in a raffle for some great prizes. Jingle Jam tickets are on sale now for $15 in the Activities Office. 11-14
Attention all winter cheerleaders. There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday November 12th at 3:00PM in the Cafeteria. Immediately following the meeting, we will have our first practice. Come prepared to participate. If you are not able to attend, you must see Mrs. Buechel by Friday. 11-12
