Announcements for 11-05-09
All intramural bowlers in the Thursday Afternoon High School League at Bowlmor - There is bowling tomorrow beginning at 3:15. Anyone who still wishes to join CAN, there are a few spots open.
Anyone wishing to bowl on the Central Bowling Team - please attend an open practice on Friday at Bowlmor beginning at 3:15 pm. This is for any male or female who wants to bowl on Central's team.
National History Day participants will be meeting today after school in the library to begin refining their topics and begin the research process. See you in the library. Let Mrs. Heninger, Mr. Flaherty, or Ms. Norris know if you cannot attend.
There will be a Freshmen and Sophomore boys basketball meeting after school today in the cafe.
Attention wrestlers, there will be an open mat right after school today at 3pm in the wrestling room.
Ok Seniors, the due date came and went and you or your parents missed getting your baby ad into the yearbook. Don’t despair the yearbook staff will be accepting ads until next Wednesday Nov. 11th with a ten dollar late fee. So get those ads turned in! If you have questions contact Mrs. Jasper or a staff member.
About 100 Central High School juniors and seniors received a letter of invitation to attend a meeting with President Geoffroy of Iowa State University. This is a reminder that the meeting will take place at 10:00 on Monday, November 9 in the auditorium here at Central.
There will be a short Blue Crew meeting to discuss t-shirts and other items. If you have any good, new ideas for mentoring, please be sure to bring them with you. The meeting will be in Room 251 right after school today.
Newspaper students- All stories must be in the newspaper network with a hard copy to Buttleman by1 p.m. Friday. If you need to come to the lab during lunches to upload and print please do so. Those students on 14th block who did not check in Tuesday need to see Buttleman.
Bricolage is accepting submissions between now and December 1. The theme is Power. Drop them by Kemper 12, 13, or 14 attention Sam Hayes, Danielle Kimler, or Sarah Landsteiner.
Attention all 5th Block STUCO members: remember today is your mandatory weekly check in right after school in room 331. Don't be late!
