Announcements for 11-02-07

To all guy swimmers if you are going out for swimming make sure you have signed up with Mr. Hatfield in room 155 past the wood shop, Practice starts Monday and we are having pre-season practice at 5:30-7AM this week and make sure you have your physicals and paper work done before Monday.  Water polo after school tonight. 11-2

Miss Wall would like to offer her congratulations to the members of the cast, crew, and pit of God spell what an amazing performance! Break a leg the rest of the weekend... CHS- if you missed last night's performance, make sure to check it out either Friday or Saturday at 7pm in the auditorium. 11-2

The Blue Vibes and Central Singers crew lists are posted on the choir room door. If you are one of these students, there will be a mandatory crew meeting next Tuesday at 2:45 in the choir room. The meeting will last about 15 minutes and will cover your responsibilities and we will speak briefly about the trips we are taking this year. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Reese or Miss Wall. 11-2

Students going to national competition in Philadelphia, there is a mandatory student and parent meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. Practice tutoring will be offered noon -4 for those speaking or wanting help with competition work. 11-6

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS: THE MANDATORY PARENT MEETING WILL BE HELD THIS SUNDAY @ 6:00 P.M IN THE GYM. SEE YOU THEN. 11-2

Attention Bowlers - the Davenport Bowling Team will be bowling at Miller Time Bowl this Friday at 3:30 pm.  Anyone wishing to participate on this year’s team is encouraged to come.  Bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the bowling and shoes. 11-2

This year's long-awaited musical event, God spell, is finally here! The CHS Drama Department needs your support! Come and have a great time this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night at 7pm. Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $10 at the door. Come support the CHS Drama Department! 11-2

Attention all students- there will be no open gym on Tuesday and Thursday morning’s starting next week. No students are allowed in the gym area on TUE or Thurs mornings. This includes the big gym, small gym, and gym foyer. 11-2

All JROTC Cadets- the first drill team meeting is Friday after school in room 254. The first practice is scheduled for Tue morning at 6:30am in the big gym. Please be on time. 11-2

German Club members, please meet in Mr. K's room Tuesday, November 6th after school. We will elect club officers and get information on our next club activity, a field trip to the German heritage Center. Bis dann! 11-6

Newspaper students 5th -9th block see Ms Buttleman after school today for your assigned work for issue 4 as well as to pick up string books and papers for your mid term string book. Those presenting in Philadelphia must have materials approved by Saturday. Also those with past due money get it in.
