Attention all boy swimmers: If you are going out for swimming be sure you and sign up with Mr. Hatfield in room 155. Practice starts Monday, with pre-season practice from 5:30am to7AM. Make sure you have your physicals and paper work done before Monday. 11-1

Attention all cross country runners, you're Tommy Mirocha T-shirts will be in this Wednesday. Pick them up in the cafeteria after school Wednesday. Also, anyone who has not turned in their clean uniforms and warm ups need to do so. 10-30

We will have representatives from Ashford University at 9:00 am and University of Dubuque at 10:00 am in the guidance office. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 10-30

The Sophomore Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 31st at 7:00 a.m. This is the sophomore team. See you then. 10-30

Upward Bound St. Ambrose will NOT meet tonight. See you next week 10-30

Attention Central students and faculty, this year's long-awaited musical event, God spell, is finally here! The CHS Drama Department needs your support! Come and have a great time this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night at 7pm. Student tickets are $5 at the door. 11-2

The Activities Office is selling tickets for Jingle Jam this year starting today. Jingle Jam is a semi-formal high school dance at in the Mississippi Room at the River Center on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00-11:30pm. The ticket price is $15.00 in advanced and $20.00 at the door. You must show your student ID at the dance to get in. Represent Davenport Central by dancing the night away at Jingle Jam 2007! 11-2

To all students who love to sing gospel, Gospel choir will be meeting in the music room, Room 251, right after school, 3:40-3:10, this Thursday. See you there. 11-1

Attention Students and Staff: Elementary school kids need your help! United Neighbors is looking for tutors to assist elementary students after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours are from 3-5pm., but only one hour a week is mandatory. United Neighbors is located on 8th and Harrison just down the street from Central. A simple application is all that is necessary in order to apply. If you have any questions, contact Georgia Mumford at 322-7363, ext. 24. 11-2
