Davenport Central's Rebecca Jenette Blaze Wilder competed in the Iowa State Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Rebecca Finished 34th overall in the entire state, with a blazing time of 15:20 for 4 kilometers.

Congratulations Becca on a great meet and a wonderful season. Ladies Coach Peiffer still needs your uniforms and warm ups. You can drop them off at Running Wild any time. 10-29-07

Attention Students and Staff: Elementary school kids need your help! United Neighbors is looking for tutors to assist elementary students after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours are from 3-5pm., but only one hour a week is mandatory. United Neighbors is located on 8th and Harrison just down the street from Central. A simple application is all that is necessary in order to apply. If you have any questions, contact Georgia Mumford at 322-7363, ext. 24. 11-2

The Activities Office is selling tickets for Jingle Jam this year starting today. Jingle Jam is a semi-formal high school dance at in the Mississippi Room at the River Center on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00-11:30pm. The ticket price is $15.00 in advanced and $20.00 at the door. You must show your student ID at the dance to get in. Represent Davenport Central by dancing the night away at Jingle Jam 2007! 11-2
