We will have representatives from Loras College, Dubuque at 10:00 a.m. today and Ashford University tomorrow at 9:00 am in the guidance office. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 10-29

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING BASKETBALL.

THE LAST TWO OPEN GYMS ARE THIS WEEK. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON TRYING OUT, YOU NEED TO ATTEND TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.TONIGHTS OPEN GYM IS FROM 6:00 - 8:00. 10-29

Members of CSI and BV Show Choirs: Please remember that there will be no rehearsal tonight due to the musical rehearsal. We will meet next Monday at our regular time. 10-29

Outstanding craftsmanship, A Term Woodworkers.  There have been several positive comments made about your projects at the career fair held last Thursday.  Your chairs have graded and can be picked up after school. in the Woodshop. (room 153) 10-29

The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30th at 7:00 am.  This is for Varsity players only and it is important that you attend. See you then. 10-29

To all students who love to sing gospel, Gospel choir will be meeting in the music room, Room 251, right after school, 3:40-3:10, this Thursday. See you there. 11-1

Davenport Central's Rebecca Jenette Blaze Wilder competed in the Iowa State Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Rebecca Finished 34th overall in the entire state, with a blazing time of 15:20 for 4 kilometers.

Congratulations Becca on a great meet and a wonderful season. Ladies Coach Peiffer still needs your uniforms and warm ups. You can drop them off at Running Wild any time. 10-29-07

Attention Students and Staff: Elementary school kids need your help! United Neighbors is looking for tutors to assist elementary students after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours are from 3-5pm., but only one hour a week is mandatory. United Neighbors is located on 8th and Harrison just down the street from Central. A simple application is all that is necessary in order to apply. If you have any questions, contact Georgia Mumford at 322-7363, ext. 24. 11-2

Attention QUAD CITIES SCHOLARS: Reminder the field trip to St. Ambrose is November 1, consent slips and workshop forms are due to Mrs. Hester today. 10-30

The Activities Office is selling tickets for Jingle Jam this year starting today. Jingle Jam is a semi-formal high school dance at in the Mississippi Room at the River Center on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00-11:30pm. The ticket price is $15.00 in advanced and $20.00 at the door. You must show your student ID at the dance to get in.
