Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team on their UNDEFEATED Conference season!! The girls went 9 and 0!! They are the 2009 MAC Champions!!
Now they are on the Road to State. The first round of districts is against the North Wildcats at 7:00pm on Monday October 26th at North. Come Cheer on your Lady D's!!
The Girls Swimmers won against Clinton last night 130 to 39 in varsity and fell short in JV 85 to 61.
Top JV Finishers: 200 Medley Relay Katie Voigts, Ashton Dooley, Sarah Foster and Meghan Ryan; Sarah Foster in the 200 and 500 Free; Ashton Dooley in the 50 free and 100 breast; Katie Voigts in the 100 Free; and Kelsey Stanger in the 100 Fly.

Last night the freshmen volleyball team ended their season with a hard fought loss to North. Game one found Central’s early lead eroding to two point loss. The freshmen Lady D’s fought back to dominate game two by 25 to 11. Central never quite got it together in game three losing by a score of 15 11.
Freshmen volleyball team members are reminded to turn in uniforms to room 419 as soon as possible.
If you are a junior or senior who received an invitation to the guest speaker and pizza TAG event this Sunday afternoon at Bettendorf High School, please see Mrs. Heninger. I need to know whether you can attend.
Environmental Club will meeting right after fourth block in room 501 to collect cans and bottles. Come if you can.
Attention seniors who are graduating at the end of A Term. Please make sure you have completed and returned all the necessary paperwork to the Guidance Office. If you have any concerns please see Mrs. Pacha in the Guidance Office.
The National History Day meeting is on Thursday, October 22 right after school in room 515. Please remember to bring your topic ideas to the meeting. If you cannot come, but are interested in participating, see Mr. Flaherty, Ms. Norris, or Ms. Heninger.
The Battle of the Books teams are meeting on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 a.m. in room 501. This meeting is for all three teams. Bring your book lists and any books you have to share. Let Mrs. Heninger know if you cannot attend.
