Announcements for 10-17-07FCA will meet in room 511 this Friday morning instead of the Auditorium. 10-17 The next Freshman Scholastic Bowl practice is Friday, October 19th at 7:00 a.m. See you there! 10-18 Our next book club meeting will be Monday, November 12th after school. We will be discussing The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. You will need to find your own copy of the book at the public library, as Mrs. Heninger does not have enough for everyone. If you have not yet read this book, you will LOVE it! The movie is due to be released December 14th, so this is a MUST READ before you see the movie. Central, let's get reading!!!! And, we will see you on November 12th for the discussion! 10-18 You won’t need 20-20 vision to see a great football game tomorrow night at Brady Street Stadium. Come early and stop by the DC Football Moms table for this week’s give-away – a Blue Devil Pride window cling -- from Eye Care Pavilion and Dr. Colin Howe. It sticks to any window and is a great way to let someone who has an eye for you know that you are proud to be a Central Blue Devil! 10-17 There will be a brief organizational meeting for all Spanish Club officers this THURSDAY right after school in Room 331. We need to plan our fiesta. 10-17 Attention Central students and staff, do you know any God spell cast or crew members? If you would like to support them with a Break-A-Leg ad that will be seen in the program, pick up a form in the main office. The cost will be $5 per ad. Your ad and money will be due by this Friday, October 19th and should be given to Mrs. McMahon in room 411. 10-19 Attention God spell cast, we will rehearse from 4:15-6:00 in the choir room. We will be cleaning choreography. Please bring your costume for approval and any props you may have. 10-17 Shades of Success will meet today in room 419 at 1:40pm. Ms. Teague will miss you if you are not there. 10-17 If you are a ReadnRap participant and have not picked up your book, stop by room 501 and get one from Mrs. Heninger. You should send your biography to your partner by the end of this week. See Mrs. Heninger if you need help in figuring out the process for communicating through the list serve. 10-17 If you have a copy of the book club book, I Know What you Did Last Summer, it needs to be returned tomorrow to Mrs. Heninger or you will incur a fine. 10-17 Attention all students who love to sing gospel!!
