Any senior graduating at the end of A term that would like to get your money back for your parking pass see Mrs. Hansen in the gym.
All PE lockers need to be cleaned out by 12:00 Tuesday Oct. 20th. Anything left in the lockers after that time will be thrown out. Any female athlete keeping their locker needs to see Mrs. Hansen in the gym.
Attention Central Students:
This is a reminder that the deadline for registering for the PSAT test is Friday, October 16th. Please stop by the guidance office and register today.
We will have a representative from Iowa State University at 10:00 am in the guidance office conference room. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them.

The show choirs of Davenport Central are now signing up members for PIT and CREW. To sign up for PIT, or the band that plays for our show choirs, please see Mr. Reese, and to sign up for CREW, our traveling stage hands, please see Miss Wall in Room 259. We will be signing up pit and crew members until the end of the week.
Intramural Basketball Open Gym… mornings from 710 am to 740 am, in the New Gym, basketballs provided.
The Central book club will meet for the first time on Thursday, October 15th after school in room 501 to discuss the book, Deadline by Chris Crutcher. If you cannot attend the meeting and did check out a book, please be sure to return it to room 501 before Thursday.
The Freshman/Sophomore Scholastic Bowl team is practicing on Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. This practice is only for those freshman and sophomores who can attend the Moline Tournament on November 7th. Let Mrs. Heninger know if you can go to the tournament but cannot make the practice.
Key Club members and interested others. Meetings are every Tuesday promptly after school in the west end of cafeteria. Please get membership forms and dues in A.S.A.P. For those who have not attended a meeting yet...WE NEED TO SEE YOU TODAY IN THE CAFETERIA AFTER SCHOOL. For current members please bring dues to today’s meeting or drop off in room 509 this week.

Attention Newspaper Students and future B term newspaper students- the news lab will be open Tuesday through the Parents of Publication Students meeting. This is your chance to get caught up and coached for state and national competitions. Remind parents of the POPS meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. It is mandatory that those going to nationals attend the meeting. Also being discussed is the upcoming Brazil trip and hosting.
