You’ve asked about it. Your parents may have told you about it. Your college application is crying for it. What is it? It’s the CHS Spanish Club- it’s back and better than ever. Any CHS student who has been or who is currently a Spanish student is invited to join. Stop in Room 331 (Mrs. Trimble’s room) Thursday, Oct. 4 after school if you are interested. 10/4

Hey all you CHS Chemistry Club members - we're having another meeting tomorrow after school in Mr. Sheil's room. We will be performing a fun experiment and deciding on a t-shirt design! Remember, new members are always welcome. Be there - it will be an elementally good time! 10/3

We will have representatives from University of Iowa at 10:30 am in the team room today. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 10/3

We will have a representative from the Iowa National Guard in the cafeteria today during all lunches. 10/3

Due to staff shortage, the Oasis will be closed today. 10/3

We will have a representative from Kansas City Art Institute October 3rd 1st and 2nd block. 10-3

Are you a Central Minority student who has an interest in politics? Are you wanting to have your voice heard but don’t know how? We are looking for a few good students who have a desire to make change and influence state law by being a part of the Second Iowa Youth Congress. If you are interested, come to the meeting this Thursday at the beginning of second block in the auditorium. 10-4

This is a reminder that the Freshmen Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing this Thursday morning, October 4th, at 7:00 a.m. in room 501. If you are unable to attend, please let Ms. Heninger know. New members are always welcome and encouraged to try this challenging game. 10-3

Attention all students who love to sing gospel!! Gospel choir will be meeting in the music room, Room 251, on Thusday, tomorrow, after school, 3:40-3:10. Meet Mrs. Esther Anderson for that organizational meeting. See you on Thursday! 10/3
