The first concert for the choirs of Central High School will take place on Monday, Oct 5 at 7:30 at Pleasant Valley High School. This all city festival, METROFEST, will feature the choirs of Davenport North, Central, and West, as well as Bettendorf, PV, and North Scott. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors and will be sold at the door. Come support the CHS Vocal Department at their first event of the year!

Attention all Blue Devils! This Sunday, starting at 5:30 at Brady Street Stadium, our Lady Blue Devils will be competing against each other in a Powderpuff Football Tournament. Come out and support your friends! Immediately following the tournament there will be a bonfire in the practice field across the street. Come take part in this great Homecoming tradition!

Hey Central Students and Staff, iJAG will be selling t-shirts for $12 till the end of this week. Place your order with us so that we can get these printed! You will find us selling during lunches or you can come up to room 640 to place an order. Hurry so that you don’t miss this opportunity!

Intramural Open gym will be starting Monday October 5th, 7:10 am thru 7:40 am, daily, in the New Gym. Come work on your pick up game basketball skills.

The deli line will be closed for a couple of days due to shortage of sub buns. AND if the garbage continues in the booths, they will be closed.

Bowling League sign up will be today after school in the Cafeteria.

Publication students don’t forget to pick up your permission slips for the State Journalism Convention and return it with your $30.

Homecoming shirts are in. You can stop by room 331 to pick yours up OR we will be distributing them during lunch on Monday.
