This message is to everyone that ordered a homecoming T-shirt. The original shirts delivered to us did not meet our standards. The student council decided to order new shirts that would look better than to sell the original ones. The new ones will be delivered tomorrow afternoon. Please see Mrs. Hosmer in the LMC if you have questions. Listen to an announcement about the delivery. 9/27
Attention God spell cast members, there has been a change in tonight's rehearsal. Practice will start at 5:45 in the auditorium. We will finish choreographing Bless the Lord and then chorus members will be free to go. Principles will then be learning All for the Best and will stay until 8:00. Practice on this Saturday will be from 8-11 for the whole cast. 9/27
Shades of Success/Boys to Men will meet in the library today at 1:40pm. Yes, that’s 1:40 pm in the library. Come quickly. We have a very special guest! Ms. Teague will miss you if you are not there! All are welcome. 9/27
Congratulations to the Blue Devil Girls swim team on their victory over Davenport North last night! The varsity won by a score of 122 to 52 and the JV by a score of 110 to 21. 1st place winners for the Central varsity were Katie Beale in the 200 medley relay, 200 fee relay, 200 I.M. and 100 fly; Mary Betsworth in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 50 free and 500 free; Kathleen Gartnier in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 200 free and 100 free; Ashley Ehrecke in the 100 back and 400 free relay, Jasmine Watts in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay, Liz Frits in the 200 medley relay, Erin Abbas in the 400 free relay, and Ally Wilder in the 400 free relay. 9/27

Attention Speech Team members: There will be a short meeting immediately after 4th block today in room 306. Everyone should plan on attending this brief meeting. 9/26
We will have a representative from Roosevelt University - Chicago at 10:00 and Quincy University @ 11:00 a.m. in the guidance office today. Stop and get a pass if interested in visiting with them. 9/26

You thought that the Central Environmental Club just collected cans and bottles for recycling? Well, you were mistaken --- we are now starting to also collect acorns. Yes, acorns! We will be donating our acorns to Living, Lands, and Water that will then use them to plant and grow trees. We need your help. If you would like to begin collecting acorns, come see Mrs. Heninger in room 501 for an information sheet about what is required and begin the search for acorns. 9-27
There will be a brief Drama Club meeting after school on Thursday in room 305. 9-27
This is just a friendly reminder that if you owe a detention or Saturday school, you will NOT be allowed to attend the Homecoming dance. Make sure that you have this taken care of this week or your date will have to go to the dance alone. 9-28
