Attention Students! The Mini-Olympics are fast approaching. Please turn in your teams, permission forms, and money by Wednesday September 24. Turn these into Mrs. Hosmer, Allie Corbin, Beth Clewell, or Hannah McAtee. Remember, the Mini-Olympics are this Sunday, September 28 at 4pm. See you there! 9-24
Honk Honk Beep Beep! Get your friends or team together and sign up for the Homecoming parade. It is on October 2nd at 6 pm. Sign up forms are located outside the main office. Return them to the library by Friday. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to show off your creativity! 9-25

Attention seniors! Unless you want your ID photos used in the yearbook, call Carlson Creative Images at 309-755-5001 A.S.A.P. to get your senior pictures taken! The cut off date is coming up quickly, so contact Carlson to make an appointment! 9-23
HOMECOMING-HOMECOMING-HOMECOMING…WHO HAS A DATE TO HOMECOMING? COME WITH YOUR FRIENDS OR WITH A DATE TO OUR “WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE” HOMECOMING DANCE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH FROM 8-11PM IN GEORGE MARSHALL GYM. Tickets are on sale now for $10.00 a piece in the Activities Office. If you are bringing a date from a different school you must purchase tickets ahead of time and have a permission slip signed by the school the date is currently attending stating the student is in good standing at the school. You can pick up permission slips in the Activities Office, as well. We encourage all students to attend this dance. See the Central High School website for more information on the dance. 9-23
This is reminder to all Key Club members that club dues are due by this Friday, September 26. The amount is $18 this year, and checks can be made out to Central Key Club. If possible, please bring this amount to the meeting tomorrow after school in an envelope with your name on it. This will help to speed up the collection process and get the meeting over more quickly! Thank you! 9/23
Attention all past, present, and future Spanish students - check out Spanish Club every Friday after school in room 331. We are in the process of ordering our club t-shirts, which are $8. Also, we are holding a Spanish movie night soon to watch "Casi Casi", a Puerto Rican movie about a troublemaker who runs against his crush for Student Council president! From the dean’s office: Listen up! Students who do not serve detentions and Saturday School will not be allowed to attend school dances, including Home Coming Dance. See those teachers and deans to get these taken care of. The list of names is now in the activities office and new names will be added daily. You will not be able to purchase a ticket until your detentions and Saturday School responsibilities have taken care of. See Ms. Teague & Mr. Hawley and your teachers if you have questions. Saturday is Sept. 27th at 8:00am. 9-26
