The goal of the Million Trees Project is to plant 100,000 trees in the next 2-3 years and 1 million trees within the next 10 years. In order to do this, we need your help in collecting acorns.  If you have a big oak tree in your yard or live near a park, spend a little time collecting the acorns and bring them to room 501.  Put the acorns in a paper or canvas bag, not a plastic or ziplock bag.  If you need more information, see any Environmental Club officer or Mrs. Heninger in room 501.  9-17
