The DC Football Moms will be hosting a free giveaway special at each of the five home football games. The first 250 students through the gate and present their Central ID will receive a prize. This Friday night, students will receive a “Brady Street Bunch” rally towel. Hope to see you there! Go Blue Devils! 9/14

Students, our first home football game is this Friday night against Burlington. There will be a pep aud on the Main Street lawn, Friday at 2:20pm, to get the school rallied up for the big game. 9/14

Are you interested in joining the YMCA, from now until September 21st you can receive the Central High School student and employee membership special. Bring your ID card in and sign up with no joiner fee and receive $25.00 in Y-Bucks to use on other classes or personal training. 9/21

The homecoming parade is just around the corner. School clubs, fall sport teams this is for you. You can make a float and participate in the annual homecoming parade. Pick up your forms in the library. The forms are due by Sept 25, back in the library. 9/14

Hey Blue Devils! Don’t forget to get your teams of 8 together for the co-ed volleyball tournament on the Sunday the 23rd before it’s too late. Sign ups are outside the library and the costs is $3 per person, $24 per team. Sign up NOW. 9-13

Attention Speech Team members who plan to attend the Iowa City West tournament on October 6th: There will be a practice congress in room 306 after school today. Please see Koree Allinger about the legislation that we will use for this practice session. 9/13

"Oh no! You forgot to come to Chess Club last Monday! That's ok. Chess Club is every Monday in room 509 until 3:30. Brittany needs some competition! Are you the one to beat her? Join Chess Club to find out. We meet every Monday in room 509. See you Monday!" 9/14

Friday is "Constitution Day" here. Bring your pennies, costumes (or at least wear your red and blue for the football team and Constitution Day), posters, newspaper hats, and displays to all lunches Friday to show "Constitutional Spirit" is part of our school. 9/14

Thank you to all of the freshmen who attended the dance last night. It was a huge success and we want to especially thank: The Blue Crew, Mrs. Nikolopoulos, Mrs. Schorg, Officer Lopez, Mrs. DeCosta, and Raven Clinton-Bogan. Way to go blue! 9/13

To all CHS volleyball fans: This is a reminder that all spectators attending tonight’s game at home vs. Burlington need to enter the gym using the West Cafeteria Doors. You will need to use these doors to attend all home volleyball matches. 9/13

Upward Bound St Ambrose has a Workshop this Saturday from 9-11. It is in McMullin room 212. Try to get there by 8:45 so you can get breakfast before we start! If you have any questions ask Mrs. Shelley in Room 609. See you on Saturday. 9/14

Any student that has not turned in a free and reduced application for this year by September 21st, will automatically Be changed to paid status. You can get an application from any cashier. 9/21
