Attention Yearbook Staff: Remember we are meeting with our company rep on Monday at 2:45 in the yearbook room. Please be prompt so we can get things underway quickly! 9/10

This is your last day to change you orange or purple parking pass for the new white one. This is your final warning. If you do not have the white pass on your car by Monday your car will be towed. You can change your pass at all lunches today or see Mrs. Hansen in the gym. 9/7

The Lady blue devils did another and up job in Cedar Rapids last night despite the rain and humidity.

Becca Wilder blazed a path coming in 11th overall for the Blue Devils and continuing to drop times for the season, not far behind was Central's very own Melanie Louis who also continues to improve on the year. Not far behind her was New Comer Nikki Miller, Chelsea Rink, Kelsey Hoeksema, Shay Williams,Shaley Maher, and Jessi VandeBerg.

The Frosh/Soph division was lead for the blue devils by Katlym McCullaough, followed by Mara Warner, Allison Vandecar, Mary VanCamp, and Katie Walton.

The JV race showed some very promising times. Coming in with great times were Rebecca Briesmoore, Ann Mckillip Kathleen Giorgio, Megan Maller, and Kelsey Howard

Once again these lists could not be complied with out the hard diligent work of Melissa Rink and Kelsey Tope. Great Job Ladies. 9/7

Congratulations to the boys cross country team for another fine performance at the Cedar Rapids Invitational. A big "yeah-yeah" goes out to Alex Trijillo for his first place finish in the Fresh-Soph division. Keep up the great effort gentlemen. 9/7

To all Environmental Club members or anyone interested in possibly becoming one - Please join us for the Ice Cream party this Saturday at 7pm.  If you would like more details, see Mrs. Heninger in room 501.  Also, to all teachers who have can and bottle recycling bins in their classrooms - please remember that Environmental Club will only be recycling on Wednesdays. 9/7

The Sophomore Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing on Tuesday, September 11th at 7:00 a.m.  This practice will be for sophomores only.  New members are welcome and encouraged to try out this fun, challenging, and fast-paced activity.  Come join us Tuesday morning! 9/10

Monday, September 10th, there will be a representative from Northwestern University in the Guidance Office at 1:00pm. 9/10

"All girls planning to play soccer in the spring need to attend an informational meeting about off-season workouts Friday Sept. 7 at 2:45p.m. in the cafeteria. If you are unable to attend make sure you see Coach Petersen in the gym before Friday."

Hey all you science-loving Blue Devils: Central's new Chemistry Club is starting up for the year, and we're looking for members! We're do fun labs, visit local companies that use chemistry, and just have a good time! Our first meeting will be Thursday, Sept.13th at 2:40 in room 629 after school. See you there!

Constitution Day will be officially celebrated here Friday, September 14. Start saving your pennies to bring to school that day. Penny Press your favorite journalism student to tell you about the constitutional issues during all lunches. Wear a newspaper hat that Friday and or red, white, blue. Help create posters to show why the constitution is important to students today who will be the citizens of tomorrow. 9/7

All publication students remind your parents that there is a Parents of Publication Students meeting Tuesday September 11 at 7p.m. in Kemper. Trips and competitions will be discussed. 9/7

Monday! Monday! Monday! September 10th! 2nd and 3rd block, a representative from Wyo-Tech will be in room 151 to discuss opportunities and training in the auto repair field. Wyo-Tech is a leading technical school for automotive training in the U.S. Come listen to Mr. Ron Billiet explains the advantages of their two year auto program. See Mr. Christiansen for further information or come 2nd or 3rd block on Monday with a permission slip from your teacher. 9/7

Attention all Blue Devils you can pick up your ID cards at all lunches this week. You will need to know your homeroom number when you pick them up. If you ordered pictures you can pick those up at all lunches also. 9/7

Wear your freshman T-shirt to get in free.

Pizza and pop will be on sale for $1, the disco dancing, however is free!
