Hey Blue Devils don't forget donuts and bagels are now on sale in the mornings in the west side of the auditorium. 9/7

Do you love to watch Jeopardy?  Are you good at Trivial Pursuit?  Do you have a lot of random facts in your brain?  If so, Scholastic Bowl needs you!  The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team will hold their first practice on Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 a.m. in room 501.  This is for juniors and seniors only.  The freshman and sophomores will start their teams the following week.  If you are a junior or senior interested in playing on a Scholastic Bowl team, come on Thursday to find out about the fun.  See you there! 9/5

Hey Everybody! The Homecoming game is coming up on Sept 27th. We are preordering homecoming T-shirts. They will be $10. Please place your order, with money, in the library no later then Sept. 5th.

Hey freshman!! Want to dance with your friends? Do you want to meet other freshman? Then come to the freshman only dance Wednesday, September 12th from 6-8pm in the cafeteria. Wear your freshman T-shirt to get in free. Pizza and pop will be on sale for $1, the disco dancing, however is free! See you there!

Congratulations goes out to Monica Herrera who was crowned the fiesta queen during the LULAC’s annual fiesta celebration. The LULAC club, which stands for the League of United Latin American Citizens awards this title, and Monica will represent the local LULAC council’s events and activities. Way to go Monica!!

Newspaper 6th block and after school two termers, your weekly forms are due today by 1p.m. Assignments are on the board. If you don't have one, sign up today. Also lists for competition and Constitution Day are posted. 9/5

Monday! Monday! Monday! September 10th! 2nd and 3rd block, a representative from Wyo-Tech will be in room 151 to discuss opportunities and training in the auto repair field. Wyo-Tech is a leading technical school for automotive training in the U.S. Come listen to Mr. Ron Billiet explain the advantages of their two year auto program. See Mr. Christiansen for further information or come 2nd or 3rd block on Monday with a permission slip from your teacher. 9/7

REMINDER ALL GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING BASKETBALL, OPEN GYMS ARE UNDERWAY. THE NEXT ONE IS TONIGHT 6:15. MEET IN THE WEIGHT ROOM. 9/5

Students, this is a reminder that picture retakes are tomorrow starting at 7am in the library.  Anyone who did not get their pictures at registration should get their picture Tomorrow for a school ID. 

Attention all Blue Devils you can pick up your ID cards at all lunches this week. You will need to know your homeroom number when you pick them up. If you ordered pictures you can pick those up at all lunches also. 9/7

Blue Devils don't forget to turn your orange or purple parking tags in for the new improved white one. You can change them at all lunches this week. Starting next week you will have to have the new white permit or your car will be towed. 9/7

Hey all you athletes, FCA is this Friday morning at 7:00 AM in the Auditorium. Bring a teammate and get Game Ready. 9/6

The full cast of Godspell will have rehearsal tonight in the auditorium from 6-8. Use the Main St. doors to enter the building. Please be on time and ready to begin right at 6! 9/5

Central JV Boy's go 10-0 on the year defeating Bettendorf and Clinton last night at Duck Creek.  Ryan Wilson and Mike Maller were meet medalists with 36s. 9/5

All members of the boys and girls cross country team need to see Coach Tandy in room 309 today to receive their "Get Out of Jail Free" card. 9/5

It’s Wednesday again already! You know what that means…Shades of Success/Boys to Men will be meeting today! Yes, we will be meeting today at 1:40pm in room 419, that’s 419! Don’t forget to bring your folder if, you didn’t turn it in last week. Ms. Teague will miss you if you don’t come today. 9/5

There will be a brief sign-up meeting for students interested in being a part of SECME this year.
