Hey Blue Crew Members! We are having a short meeting in the library on Wednesday at 7:15 to finalize the plans for the upcoming event. All Blue Crew members need to attend! 8/31

There will be a short meeting today after school for all cast and chorus members of Godspell. The meeting will be held in room 411. You must be present to be part of the show. See Mrs. McMahon if there are conflicts. 8/31

Attention all Sophomores there is going to be one final lottery for parking spaces. There are about 20 spaces left. If you are interested in this lottery sign up today at all lunches. Remember you must have all fees and fines paid and have a GPA of 2.0 or better. 8/31

This is a reminder that the Environmental Club will be collecting cans and bottles from the recycling bins after school. If you can join us, please come to room 501 immediately after school. New members are encouraged to come and have a good time. 8/31

Do you love to watch Jeopardy? Are you good at Trivial Pursuit? Do you have a lot of random facts in your brain? If so, Scholastic Bowl needs you! The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team will hold their first practice on Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 a.m. in room 501. This is for juniors and seniors only. The freshman and sophomores will start their teams the following week. If you are a junior or senior interested in playing on a Scholastic Bowl team, come on Thursday to find out about the fun. See you there! 9/5

Bump, Set, Spike! It’s Co-Ed volleyball time again. Get you teams together for Sunday, Sept 23rd at 5:00 at Brady Street Stadium. It costs $3.00 per person or $24 per team. Get your permission slips and sign up in the library today!

Hey Everybody! The Homecoming game is coming up on Sept 27th. We are preordering homecoming Tshirts. They will be $10. Please place your order, with money, in the library no later then Sept 5th.

Central JV Boy's golf are 6-0 on the year defeating North and North Scott last night at Glynn's Creek. Ryan Wilson was meet medalist with a 38 and Joe Smith followed with a 39.

Upward Bound St. Ambrose will meet Tuesday September 4 from 2:40-4:40 in Room 609. If you would like to join please make arrangements to make the meeting. 8/31

Pictures that were ordered at registration are now in and are being handed out by Mrs. Hansen during lunch for the rest of the week. Any student who would like a picture re-take or needs to have their picture taken for the year you can have this done next Thursday, September 6th in the IMC. You will be called out of your class to have your picture taken.

Also, Student ID cards will be passed out next week. Staff, if you would like to have your picture taken, please go to the IMC before school on September 6th to have it done. 8/31

Stand up for what is right, even if you are standing alone." These are words to live by, but at Central High, you don't have to stand alone. Come make a stand Wednesday morning at 7:15 in room 415 with the other members of SADD. 9/4

Do you play chess, or do you want to learn how? Join Chess Club! It meets Mondays after school in room 509. Come join the fun! 8/31

Hey Blue Devils Donuts and Bagels are back. That's right starting next Tuesday you will be able to purchase a donut for .50 and a bagel for .75. We moved the location of the sales of these delicious treats to the entrance of the west side of the auditorium. Donuts and Bagels will only be sold before school. So don't forget to buy them. 8/31

This Friday will be your last chance to purchase a parking pass. Starting next Tuesday if you are parked in the lower lot your car will be towed. So stop by the cafeteria at all lunches to see if you have been approved to get one. You will need cash or a check for $35.00. 8/31

Starting next Wednesday we will have intramural basketball at 7:00 in the morning in the gym. Intramurals will be Monday-Wednesday and Friday's only. NO FOOD OR DRINKS will be allowed in the gym. 8/31

Reminder to students that you are not allowed to park in the North teacher parking lots. You need a parking permit to park in the South lot. Your cars starting today will be ticketed or towed if they are in these areas without the right pass. 8/31

Due to staff shortage the Oasis will be closed the rest of the week. 8/31
