Do you like to volunteer? If so, come to a meeting tomorrow after school in the cafeteria to find out about Key Club, Central’s Community Service Organization.
Students that got their ID badge at Wednesday or Thursday's registration, 2 weeks ago, need to pick up their new badge that does not have their student ID number on the ID. Please see the table in the middle of the cafe today or tomorrow to trade out your ID. We do not want student ID numbers on your badge for security reasons. Thank you.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS & STAFF~This Wednesday is the band ice cream social at the LeClare Band Shell. It starts at 7pm. Bring your entire family to this free Blue Devil event and see the Blue Devil Marching Band debut their marching band show.
This Friday is our first sophomore/varsity football game vs. Muscatine at Muscatine. Wear red and blue and make the trip to support your awesome football team! Go Blue!

Are you a freshman? Are you a former or present TAG student? If so, you need to attend a short meeting to find out more about TAG this year at Central. There will be two meetings on Thursday, August 27th. One meeting will be at 7:15 a.m. and the other will be immediately after school at 2:40 p.m. You can come to either meeting. Refreshments will be served! Find out more about TAG this year. It should be a fun, successful year.
French students Past Present and Future! BONJOUR! Come check out the French Club and French Conversation Club Meeting Tuesday after school in room 339. Mademoiselle Weir is looking for members to join and lead the best French Clubs ever! Bring a friend, the more the merrier! See you at 2:45 on Tuesday.
It's the start of another school year and there is already a lot of work to be done. Last year, with your help, the CHS environmental club was able to recycle over 50,000 bottles and cans! Become more involved! Join us for a short Environmental Club meeting on Wednesday, August 26th right after school in room 501 where we will organize bins for the upcoming year. Bring your friends and go green!
Its not too late to become a member of the Central Boys Cross Country Team. All those interested please see Coach Tandy in room 309 or come out to practice at Brady Stadium at 3:30 pm.
Hey Senior's need a senior class t-shirt? See Mrs. Hansen in the gym to purchase one. The shirts are $10.
Donuts and Bagels will be back again this year. We will start selling them August 31st.

Then we want YOU! Auditions for Central High School’s all-school musical, The Secret Garden, are coming up on
Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, Aug. 26. Auditions will be held in Kahler Auditorium both days at 3:00.
ALL STUDENTS are welcome to come audition for this show. Students will be asked to sing and act during the audition process. Please be prepared to stay for at least an hour based on the number of students who audition. Bring your friends and COME AUDITION! More information will follow on how to become involved in the musical’s pit orchestra and stage crew.
