Last year, Sichuan Province in China experienced a devastating earthquake that killed many school children and destroyed their schools. This year, the people of the province are trying to rebuild their schools and provide learning materials for their children. You can help by contributing loose change, or even paper money, to buy needed supplies. No donation is too small. The money you spend for that extra bag of chips could change a young child’s life on the other side of the world. In addition to the good feeling you get from being generous, your donation will give you a chance to win a genuine, Chinese gift, provided by our Chinese exchange student, Donying Duan. Donying will also be happy to translate your English name to Chinese and write it for you in Chinese symbols. These symbols make lovely tattoo designs. Look for Donying in the cafeteria during lunch, and please, be generous.
