STUCO members please remember that our weekly meeting will be Thursday at 7:15 in the LMC. 4-8

Students who are performing at Iowa State Thursday: Because of sound issues and logistics we need all of you at 1p.m. in the news lab in Kemper. Teachers will receive a list, who is involved in their e-mails. 4-9

TAG students who are interested in the college visit to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa need to see Mrs. Heninger in room 501 by Friday. Mrs. Heninger needs your signed permission slips and $5.00 to reserve your spot on the bus. 4-9

Attention Central High School students if you were absent yesterday and need to pick up your report card please stop by the guidance office today. 4-9

All ReadnRap participants are reminded that we will be leaving tomorrow (Thursday) for the BIG event after first block. Meet in Mrs. Heninger's room right after first block and be ready to leave. Remember to bring a sack lunch and money for ice cream. If I have not received your permission slip yet, you need to return it to room 501 as soon as possible. 4-9

It's time for the Drama Club One-Act plays directed by CHS drama students. Auditions for two one-acts will be held in the auditorium on Friday 4/11 immediately after school. We hope to see everyone there! 4-11

The Freshman Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing this Friday at 7:00 a.m. in room 501. If you want to participate in Knowledge Master Open at the end of the month, you must come to this practice. Tell your friends, and see you on Friday. 4-9

Congratulations to Greg Polhans who participated in the April 5th/6th Special Olympics, earning a 2nd place ribbon in the Shotput and a 4th place ribbon in the 100m dash. Way to go Greg! 4-9

Spanish Club will meet in room 331 immediately after school on Thurs. April 10.

Attention Central Speech Team members and to those students who are interested in being on the team next year : On Thursday there will be a short meeting in room 306 after school to discuss our end of the year activity and make plans for next year's speech season. All who are interested should plan on attending. 4-10

This year’s varsity boy’s basketball team will meet in the north parking lot at 5:15pm today. We will drive to the city council to be recognized by the Davenport council at 5:30pm. 4-9

Attention All Athletes: Sport Physicals will be given today at a cost of $10 in the Central Cafeteria from 6-8 pm. 4-9

Hey Blue Devils- want save 10 Bucks . .and who doesn’t. Then now is the time to order your yearbook before the price goes up ten dollars on April 15th. Plus the next 50 people to order a yearbook in room 417 get treated to a special prize-- Don’t feel left out if you already ordered a book – you too might be a winner. Listen to the announcements all week for your chance to be a winner. To order a yearbook simply bring your $55.00 to room 417 and claim your prize. 4-11

Attention Central High Students you can now register for the Summer School classes. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office. Register as soon as possible as there are limited number of spaces available for summer school. 4-11

Past, present and future Spanish students interested in traveling to Mexico and Costa Rica next summer: Bring your parents to an informational meeting on Thursday, April 10 at 5:30 in room 331.
