Wednesday night the boys' soccer team defeated Assumption 3-0. Led by a strong defensive performance by Blayne Lazenby, Eric Howe, Jacob Canright and goalie Cal Herrig the Blue Devils pitched their second shut out of the young season. Central's defense gave up only one shot on goal, while the offense was able to get off 28 shots. Scoring for Central was Sebastian Pena with 2 goals. Sebastian also assisted the goal by Jake LaFrenz. Assists for Pena'a two goals were made by Chris Capper and Bjorn Rydder. This year's soccer team is fast paced and exciting to watch, the team is playing well and would love for your support as the season goes on. The Blue Devils are off to a great start at 3-0, the next game for the BlueDevils is Tuesday @ 6th ranked PV. 4-4
