The Freshman Scholastic Bowl team will be practicing tomorrow, Friday, at 7:00 a.m. in room 501. All members are encouraged to attend. New members who want to try this fast-paced academic game are always welcome. 4-3

This I Believe is the title of an old book, a new book, and a popular National Public Radio series. In the series, both famous and ordinary people express their core beliefs in short, personal essays. The Quad City community has been encouraging citizens to write down their own beliefs and share them with their friends and family. Many of our Central students have been writing their own "This I Believe" statements. The editors of the NPR "This I Believe" show will be at the Bettendorf Public Library this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. All students are encouraged to attend this event. You might just discover how you would complete the statement, "This I Believe". 4-3

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2008-2009 season are fast approaching. There is a mandatory meeting TODAY at 4 pm in the auditorium. Yes, that’s TODAY. If you are interested you must attend this meeting. Tryouts are next week with the clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday and tryouts on Thursday.
