Announcements for 3-11-08

Congratulations to the following students for qualifying for the State National History Day competition in Des Moines.  Taylor GIllhouse and Alissa Rosenbach both qualified with their group presentation on Alice Paul and the Women Suffrage Movement.  Emily Aronson and Karl Baresel's performance about Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln was fantastic and also earned them a trip to state.  Austin Laugen and Anna Kaufmann qualified in the Group Documentary division with their amazing video about the Rock Island Railroad and the Effie Afton Steamboat disaster.  Congratulations to all of these students.  We are so proud of you!!! 3-11

Open Campus Seniors, when returning from lunch, please return to the Main Street door and wait in the lobby until it is time to pass. Please do not wait in the cafeteria area or the gym areas. 3-12

Attention Cheerleaders. Your uniforms are past due. Please turn them into Mrs. Buechel no later than Wednesday morning. 3-11

Attention Winter Athletes: The Winter Sports Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Auditorium at 6:00pm. Please plan to attend. 3-12

Attention students planning to take AP exams: The tests have to be ordered by April 1 and the cost of each test is $84. Students may sign up in the guidance and a down payment of $13.00 must be paid at that time. 3-11

Attention all members of this years Men’s and Women’s Bowling Teams – please attend the Winter Sports Banquet, Wednesday, March 12th, starting at 6:00pm in the Auditorium.  This includes all Varsity, Junior Varsity and Reserves. 3-11
