Announcements for 2-08-08

Book Club meets next Monday, February 11th at 2:45 p.m. in room 501. We will be discussing Habibi by Naomi Shahab Nye.  If you have a copy of the book and cannot attend the meeting, please return it by Monday!!!  The books need to be returned to the library by Tuesday, so please do not forget your book on Monday! 2-8-08

The new ReadnRap book is in!  If you are a ReadnRap participant, return your old book and pick up a new one today.  See you soon. 2-8-08

The boys track team will meet today right after school in room 309 for a short meeting. The season begins Monday. Any questions please see Coach Tandy in room 309. 2-8-08

Could Karl Baresel and Emily Aronson and Jonathon O’Leary come see Mrs. Heninger in room 501 sometime before you leave today?  2-8-08

Attention Winter Guard: The boy’s basketball game that we will perform at has been rescheduled for Wednesday February 13th. This means we will have practice on Monday February 11th at Washington from 4:00-6:00. If you have any questions, please contact Ms Poskin. 2-11-08

Mock Trial Team C (this is Teresa Foster and Julia Kiley's team) is holding a Mock Trial meeting today, Friday, at 3:00 pm at the courthouse with their attorney coaches.  Let Teresa or Julia know if you cannot attend today's meeting. 2-8-08

Teachers we need you during your prep today to attend an ITED meeting in the auditorium. Please check your e-mail for specific times. 2-8-08

There will be an informational and sign up meeting for any boys interested in playing soccer this year on Monday February 11th.  The meeting will right after school in the auditorium.  2-11-08

Attention students: Tickets are on sale in the Activities Office for Spree. Tickets will also be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunches as well as after school today only in the Activities Office. They are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. Remember you must have a school ID to purchase your tickets and to get in at the door. 2-8-08

Attention all love birds… this is a friendly reminder that the school will hold any Valentine deliveries and not call you to the office to pick up anything until the end of the day on February 14th. Please encourage all of your admires to refrain from sending valentines to school. 2-14-08

Attention all CHS students, ITED testing is next Wednesday, February 13th here at Central.  Seniors do not need to come to school that day, however, all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are required to take this extremely important test.  Start now students getting a good night's sleep and make sure you bring something quiet to do concluding the tests that day.  Next Wednesday the tests will be over at 11:45am.  You can leave after the test is over.  Lunch will be served from 11:45-12:30pm and buses will pick up students at 12:30 on February 13th.  On these tests, let's do our best, CHS!!!  2-8-08
