Announcements for 1-10-08

Attention Teachers: Today you should present the ITED PowerPoint to our 4th block classes. You have an email from Mr. Gunn containing this and one copy in your red folder. If you have an LCD projector in your room, you can simply show it, or there are hard copies available in the office by the mailboxes. Contact Mr. Gunn in room 322 (phone ext. 302) if you have any questions or if there are not copies left in the office.

All Current and Former JROTC Cadets- please remember we have a promotion board process in JROTC. SO- if you are coming back to this great program in second semester and were not with us in first semester- please come see Lieutenant Colonel Moralez, Sergeant Major Matson, or a senior cadet ASAP. If you are interested in a leadership position or getting promoted, the JROTC promotion board is scheduled for next WED and Thursday after school in room 256. Any cadet who wants a leadership position or additional rank must go through this promotion board process. All cadets please remember you are welcome to participate with us in all our activities throughout the year, IE- our Formal ball and the QC Challenge with North and Rocky in April, and our extra teams. Please stay in contact. 1-11-08

All GSA members, there will be a brief meeting after school in Kemper room 12. Please attend because there are some important issues for us to discuss. 1-10-08

5th-9th block newspaper students, string books must be in by Tuesday and be completely updated. All new assignments are on the board in Kemper. There will be a parent's meeting Tuesday night in Kemper at 7p.m. Questions see Ms Buttleman. 1-15-08

ATTENTION ALL QC PROM FASHION EXPO VOLUNTEERS, PLEASE STOP BY DURING LUNCH AND PICK UP YOUR ASSIGNMENTS FROM DEB BURKE IN THE LUNCH ROOM ON FRIDAY B,C&D LUNCHTIMES. 1-11-08

Attention staff and wrestlers: All wrestlers will need to be released at 2:30 today for their meet in Burlington. 1-10-08

Attention Blue Vibrations PIT members- You will be rehearsing THIS FRIDAY, Jan. 11, from 4:30-6:00pm.  Make sure you've re-visited the BV show before that day and come ready to work! 1-11-08

Come one, come all, and audition for Central's annual Variety Show! This is open to ALL CHS STUDENTS of ALL TALENTS AND PERSUASIONS!! This year's theme will be "As Seen on TV." Auditions will be held in Kahler Auditorium THIS THURSDAY, January 10, starting at 2:45. All are welcome! We are looking for a huge VARIETY of talent, so come strut your stuff Central students! 1-10-08

Please return your library books to the library today. There are many library books that are overdue. The fine will be cut in half this week if you return your books and pay your fines.
