  • Project Aware Youth Summit

CHS students Monifah Ponton, Rafe Sullivan, Wyeth Platt, Anthony Jack, Maitreyi Shrikhande and Nina Lanciloti attended the Project Aware Youth Summit at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden on Wednesday, Sept. 19th.  They had the opportunity to interact with other youth and community leaders across Iowa to learn about the many views of leadership, with a focus on exploring how effective youth voices can be in change work, the informal authority youth advocates have, and the power of collective leadership.  Additionally, they learned about various youth-led projects across the state. Great job to these amazing students!
