  • Porter Moves to IJAG Level III Specialist

    This summer, at the 34th Annual National Training Seminar for IJAG, Central teacher Mr. Porter was recognized as an IJAG Level III Specialist. This incredible achievement was announced at the seminar in Las Vegas while Mr. Porter’s achievements were honored during a seminar and ceremony at the Honey Creek Resort in Moravia, Iowa. At the same seminar, Mr. Porter was also recognized as a 5-of-5 on his Iowa-Jobs for America’s Graduates Performance Outcome Standards which include:

    • Graduation Rate
    • Employment Rate
    • Positive Outcome Rate
    • Full-time Jobs Rate
    • Full-time Placement Rate 

    Not only does Mr. Porter encourage his students through career development, career fairs, field trips, college campus visits, fundraising opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and job placement, Mr. Porter will now act as a mentor to other IJAG teachers as they develop programs that will enhance the students at their various schools.  Thank you to Mr. Porter for devoting so much time and effort to a vital program for the community!
