The mission of the Central High School professional counseling program is to develop responsible citizens equipped with the academic, social/emotional and career navigation skills needed to reach their greatest potential as life-long learners.

Central High School focuses on the following counseling services:

    • Academic
    • Career planning and navigation
    • Social and emotional challenges

In addition to counseling services, Mrs. Wurdinger, Central’s social worker, offers a variety of services.  Click here for a list of opportunities she provides.

Students and parents are encouraged to contact counselors with questions and concerns. Counselors will work with students to develop course schedules, assist with academic or social/emotional challenges, and plan for post-secondary education and career pathways.
