National Museum of Mexican Art
Forty students from Central’s Spanish classes and Latinos Unidos Club traveled to Chicago on October 26th to visit the National Museum of Mexican Art. They took a guided tour of the museum’s Day of the Dead exhibit and their permanent collection. They also saw a demonstration of sugar skull making and were able to visit the Pilsen neighborhood. Students and chaperones then went on to visit the Water Tower area of Chicago. A special thank you to Mrs. Preciado, Mrs. Trimble, and Mr. Kierblewski for organizing and chaperoning this amazing trip.
