National Museum of Mexican Art Tour
Spanish and Latinos Unidos students recently had the opportunity to travel to Chicago to visit the National Museum of Mexican Art. Students and their chaperones received a guided tour of the museum’s Day of the Dead/Día de los Muertos exhibit, viewed their permanent collection, and saw a demonstration of sugar skull making. The students also visited the Water Tower area of downtown Chicago. The trip was chaperoned by Megan Preciado, Andrea Trimble, Amber Day, Jessica Barr and Dana Kruse.
